Broccoli Cauliflower Bacon Salad. This week the broccoli and our Cheddar cauliflower are ripe. That cauliflower is supposed to look yellow instead of white, like regular cauliflower. Dave Couldn’t resist trying out the cheddar variety. I have waited all year to make this Low-Carb, Gluten-Free salad with our fresh garden produce. It’s happening today. YUM!
We have company from out of town this week. Imagine me. Beaming grandma! So much fun to see how the grandchildren are growing up. I’m so proud of my kids. They are excellent parents. (I know , brag brag…can’t help it!).
So, I’m very happily feeding a large crew this week! A perfect time to bring on the salads. Our garden is chock full of lovely vegetables and my house is full of hungry people. I like that combination! This Broccoli Cauliflower Bacon Salad is one I’ve made before; so I know it’s good. I’m sharing it with you so you can enjoy it this summer too. It’s really good and kid tested. They love it!
