Watermelon Raspberry Party Punch Recipe. No Added Sugar. Pureed Fruits And Mint. Yum!

Watermelon Raspberry Party Punch

You may remember, if you follow our blog, that I had an impromptu birthday celebration for our five year old granddaughter recently. Her sisters, cousin, auntie and I got together and decided to bake her these adorable cupcakes from Aliyah’s Simple White Cake recipe.

We always get busy in the kitchen when the Martin girls visit here. Aliyah brought along her Cookbook for Girls by Denise Smart . She loves this recipe book. It was a gift to her from her Aunt Kayti. Many yummy junior cook recipes in there.

This fabulous punch recipe was in that book. We made punch and cupcakes for a fun quick party for Milla. She was very pleased to help make the treats with her sister Lainey. Aliyah picked the raspberries all by herself and was involved every step of the way with this punch and the yummy cupcakes too. I have the best time with our grandkids!

I doubled down on the raspberries in the recipe. We loved the watermelon with raspberries. The big surprise is how refreshing the mint leaves are in this drink. The oranges make a pretty top. I did add the remaining orange into the punch too. I should have peeled the rounds before adding them in. The rinds were a bit bitter in the punch.

Letting this punch set overnight REALLY improved it. So that make this recipe even better. Make the punch ahead, even overnight. Chill it without the ice cubes and garnishes until serving. When you serve simply stir in the ice cubes and garnish the top of the punch if desired.

This is a thick pulpy punch but it’s easy to drink and ALL the kids loved it after the flavors developed overnight. The mint leaves really make a difference!

Watermelon Raspberry Party Punch Recipe:

This is a very easy punch to make with kids. I recommend you cut the fruit and handle the heavy punch bowl. Older kids can do the rest!

You may strain the punch if you prefer a clearer result. We left our punch pulpy and enjoyed it that way.
