To your Crockpot set on high heat add
6 Large Potatoes, peeled and cubed
3/4 Cup of onion, diced
1 tsp garlic-minced
salt and pepper to taste
1 1/2 Cup chicken broth
Cook for 4-5 hours until potatoes are soft
Next, mash potatoes to thicken soup then add
1 Cup heavy cream
16-oz cream cheese
1/4 Cup butter
Allow to cook an additional 30-45 minutes
