Cream together
1⁄2 Cup unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
1⁄2 Cup granulated sugar
1⁄2 Cup packed light brown sugar
Add in
1 large egg, at room temperature
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 TBS milk
In a separate bowl whisk together
1 cup all-purpose flour
1⁄2 Cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1⁄8 teaspoon salt
Add to the wet ingredients and mix until well combined
*it will form a sticky dough ball when finished*
Cover the dough tightly with plastic wrap and chill for at least 1 hour
Preheat oven to 350 F
To a small bowl add
1⁄4 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
1/2 cup Pecan Pieces, chopped
Roll the chilled cookie dough into balls and press the top of the ball into the chocolate chip and pecan mixture
Place the cookie ball on a lined baking sheet smooth side down
Bake for 12-14 minutes or until cooked through
Cool on cookie sheet for a couple minutes before transferring to a cooling rack
Once cookies are completely cooled, drizzle with salted caramel sauce and top with flacky sea salt
