To start, preheat your oven to 350 degrees F
In a food processor mince
3/4 Cup dried cherries
11/2 Cup cranberries
1 Cup fresh dates
1 Cup ground walnuts
You can also chop them by hand, but make sure they are minced very fine
In a large mixing bowl combine
6 Cups instant oats
11/2 Cup unsweetened coconut flakes
1 Cup chocolate chips
1 Cup sliced almonds
And the minced fruit and nut mixture
Stir then add
3/4 tsp. almond extract
1 TBS cinnamon
Stir until thoroughly combined
To the bowl add
(1) 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
Stir until the mixture is wet and sticky
Press into a parchment lined baking sheet
Bake for 25 minutes
Using a sharp knife or pizza cutter, cut into rectangle bars
Transfer to a cooling rack and allow to set fully
