Pulse to gently blend 12 eggs
You will get roughly 4 cups of liquid eggs
Don't over blend the eggs, only enough to combine them into a smooth mixture
Pour the blended egg mixture onto a deep lipped tray that is compatible with your freeze
Place in your cold freezer to freeze, covered to prevent freezer burn
Allow the eggs to cold freeze 12-24 hours
Transfer the trays to your freeze dryer
Most home freeze dryers will need 24 hours to fully remove the moisture from the eggs
This time can vary, so check to be sure the eggs are dried and break apart easily
For easiest storage transfer the chunks of eggs into plastic bags and crush into a fine powder
The freeze dried egg powder can be stored in a variety of ways depending how long you are storing them
Oxygen absorbers are important for long term storage, so add a packet if necessary
Mason jars, Mylar bags, and food grade buckets can all be used for long term storage of freeze dried goods
Be sure to label and date clearly
