In your Instant Pot add  1 pound of dried navy beans and cook on manual high pressure with 2 Cups of water for 20 minutes

While the beans are cooking prep and slice 1 pound of ham 1 Cup celery 1 Cup carrot 1/2 large onion Cut into small chunks and set aside

When the beans have finished cooking, remove them from the Instant Pot, drain and set aside Set the Instant Pot to saute and add the ham, onion and 2 cloves minced garlic

Once the onions and minced garlic are fragrant and translucent, add the rest of the veggies followed by 1 Tbs salt 1/2 tsp garlic salt 1/2 tsp onion powder 1 Tbs dried basil leaves and 4 Cups chicken stock

Seal the lid, set the Instant Pot to manual high pressure and cook for 40 minutes
