Begin by making the streusel topping
In a bowl combine
1/2 Cup flour
1/2 Cup sugar
1 tsp. Ground cinnamon
6 Tablespoons unsalted butter
Cut the butter in until small chunks are formed throughout
Set aside
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F
In a medium bowl whisk together
2 1/4 Cup Flour
2 tsp. Baking powder
1/2 Tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. Salt
In a second bowl beat together
1/3 Cup softened butter
1/3 Cup cooking oil
1 Cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 Cup sour cream
2 tsp. vanilla extract
Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet and thoroughly mix together
This works best by adding the dry ingredients in 3 separate additions, and mixing between
Fill a prepared muffin tin with a large dollop of the batter
Sprinkle each with a generous amount of the streusel
Bake 15 to 20 minutes until lightly browned
