Begin by prepping  16 Cups of your favorite baking apple Wash, peel, and chop Place the prepped apple pieces into a water and lemon juice bath

In a mixing bowl whisk together 1 Cup Brown sugar 1/2 Cup granulated sugar 1 tsp. ground cinnamon 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg

Drain the apples so that they are only damp and no longer dripping wet Pour the dry mixture over the apples and begin to mix

Stir until the mixture fully coats the apples, then add 2 tsp. pure vanilla extract Continue mixing

Use immediately, or divide equally into quart sized freezer safe bags Be sure to remove the excess air and label the bags clearly Freeze flat
