For this recipe you will need
8 large ripe tomatoes
2 peppers
1 Cup dried Italian style tomatoes
1 tsp. salt
2 TBS balsamic vinegar
1TBS oregano
1 TBS Rosemary
1 TBS Thyme
1 TBS Basil
Load all of the ingredients washed but whole into a large sauce pan
Set to low heat
Allow to slowly cook until the tomatoes have dissolved, and the other ingredients are soft and mushy
This can take anywhere from 1-2 hours or longer for deeper flavor development
Transfer the sauce to a blender and mix until it is a smooth and creamy consistency
You can also run it all through a strainer to remove any skins and seeds before blending if you desire
