To start, make a homemade chili seasoning by mixing together 1 tsp basil 2 tsp ground cumin 2 tsp white sugar 4 tsp chili powder 1 Tbsp onion powder 1 Tbsp garlic powder (OPTIONAL) 1 Tbsp ground cayenne red pepper

Next, chop up 2 bell peppers 2 cloves garlic 1 onion Set a large pot or dutch oven on the stove and heat to medium heat Add 2 Tbsp cooking oil to the pot

To the pot put in 1.5 lbs ground beef 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. black pepper Break apart the beef and brown fully Once it is done remove from pot

Add the chopped fresh vegetables into the pot and sautè until tender, sprinkling in the minced garlic at the end

Add the browned beef back to the pot, then pour in (1) 8 oz. can of tomato sauce (2) 15 oz. can tomato sauce (1) 15 oz. can diced tomatoes (1) 15 oz. can red kidney beans (1) 15 oz. can chili beans (1) 15 oz. can three bean blend (1) 15 oz. can green beans (1) 15 oz. can corn (OPTIONAL) (1) 12 oz beer of your choice

Add the homemade chili seasoning mix and  2 Tbsp brown sugar into pot, and stir Bring chili to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for about 1 hour
