Prepare a baking sheet, 8x8 baking dish or similar sized pan with parchment paper or silpatIn a glass bowl melt 12 oz of semi sweet chocolate over a pot of slow boiling water or in the microwave. Stirring frequently to avoid burning the chocolate
Pour the melted chocolate in prepared pan. Set in fridge to allow it to chill and setMelt 12 oz of white chocolate until it is smooth and stirrable
Add your choice of extract to the chocolate for added flavorWe enjoy peppermint for the holidays, raspberry, almond, even cherry
Pour the white chocolate over the dark chocolate and set back into the fridge while you prepare candiesChop your candy selection into desired sizes and press into the white chocolate
Once the candies are placed, put the pan back into the fridge to chill until fully setWhen ready to serve remove from fridge, use a sharp knife to remove from pan and cut into desired pieces
