Preheat the oven to 425 degrees
Use the roasting setting on your oven if you have it
Wash 2 lbs of fresh asparagus and remove the hard ends
Arrange the asparagus in an even line on a baking sheet
Generously drizzle with olive oil, or even better for high heat roasting use avocado oil
Sprinkle all the asparagus evenly with
2 tsp garlic seasoning
1 tsp each salt and pepper
Sprinkle 4 minced cloves of garlic over the top of the asparagus
Cut 1 large lemon in half, drizzle the juice from 1/2 the lemon over the asparagus
Cut the other half into thin slices and place on top of the asparagus
Drizzle 1/4 Cup balsamic vinegar over the top of the lemon slices and asparagus
Roast for 10 minutes or until the stalks pierce easily with a fork
Enjoy the roasted asparagus hot as a delicious side dish
