In a large soup pot, start by browning
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
5 stalks celery-diced
1/2 medium onion-diced
1 Tbsp garlic-minced
Allow to cook until the beef is browned and the celery has sweated
To the same pot add
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. chili powder
(1) 15 oz. can tomatoes
(1) 15 oz. can kidney beans
(1) 15 oz. can beef broth
(1) 15 oz. can tomato sauce
1/2 medium head green cabbage-cut into small pieces
Allow the soup to simmer on low for at least 2 hours
This soup can easily be made in the slow cooker as well
