In a medium bowl whisk together
1 1/2 Cups all purpose flour
1 1/4 tsp salt
To that mixture cut in
1/4 Cup softened unsalted butter
You can use a fork or small pastry cutter
Add 1/3 Cup water
and
1/2 Cup fed sourdough starter
Mix together until a shaggy dough ball forms
If you need to add more water do so in small amounts
Place the formed dough on a floured surface and knead until the dough becomes smooth
Roll into a long log shape
Cut the dough into 6 sections
Cover the dough sections with a towel and allow to rest for at least 30 minutes
Heat a skillet to medium heat
Roll each dough section into round tortillas
Place the tortillas one at a time onto the hot skillet to cook
When bubbles begin to form, quickly turn them over and cook the other side
Only cook to slightly browned
