To rim the shot glasses
Set out two small plates and pour some simple syrup onto one of them
Pour white sugar onto the other
Invert the shot glass into the syrup to rim the upper edge
Then, transfer it to the sugar and do the same
Carefully rim with a thick coating of sugar
Set the glass aside to begin making the drink
Pour ice into the cocktail shaker
Pour in
1 oz Vodka
Squeeze the juice of 1/2 of a lemon lemon
Measure out 3/4 oz. fresh lemon juice into shaker
Affix the lid onto the shaker and shake until fully chilled
Pour the contents into the rimmed shot glass
Cut the remaining lemon half into wedges and rub in the remaining sugar from the rimming process
Serve the lemon drop shot with the sugared lemon wedge
