If you are looking for an easy, yummy, ready to go smoothie bowl puree base, here it is! Everyone agrees Acai berries are as healthy for you as other berries. Just maybe not a natural wonder berry. The science has not caught up to this one yet.
We really enjoyed the taste and it works well with other fruits, almond milk and granola. The frozen puree makes it so easy! It’s already pre measured for a single serving.
Berries are available all year round. Even properly frozen, berries retain their nutrients. Fresh is best for flavor, texture and price, but frozen is still okay for the base (or topping if thawed) of this nutritious breakfast.

This recipe is a basic guide. Please adjust it to your tastes, dietary needs and available fruits. Remember berries have a LOT of fiber which help correctly digest sweet carbs. That’s why I’m choosing berries for my recipe. And they are in season right now 🙂

- Break up a slightly thawed pack of Acai Puree into your blender
- Add frozen fruit and almond milk.
- Blend until mostly smooth.
- Top with your favorite gluten free granola or breakfast cookie crumbles and favorite fruits. (take a look at our video to see how I top mine)

- 1 3.5 oz. frozen Acai puree
- 1/2 Cup frozen berries, any type-I'm using blackberries
- 1/4 Cup almond milk
- 1 Cup Berries as you prefer for the topping
- 1/8 Cup granola
- Break up a slightly thawed pack of Frozen Acai Puree into your blender
- Add the frozen berries and almond milk.
- Blend until mostly smooth.
- Top with your favorite in season fresh berries, gluten free granola or breakfast cookie crumbles
