Let’s Make Green Juice!

GREEN JUICE RECIPES:
My own recipes start with organic, dark leafy greens from my refrigerator or preferably fresh from my garden. I buy organic lemons and limes and fruit and some hard vegetables like beets, broccoli, carrots, celery or sweet potato(when not in my gardens harvest season) and alternately add the chopped up pieces into my juicer. Delicious and nutritious!

Our Garden 2015

Our garden this week. We eat well in summer

Dave and I love to browse our vegetables each night and choose items to make green juice. An after dinner drink of green juice is very filling and helps me stay away from too much desert!

Garden Carrots 2015

Carrots are an indispensable part of green juice at our house. Carrots add sweet nutrition to the juice and help force the greens through the juicer!

There are innumerable juice recipes out there for both a juicer machine and smoothies for a blender. Each piece of produce offers it’s own nutritional value to your juice. Look up the references I gave you in the page on the juicing process and find out why the juice recipes are constructed as they are for detoxification, cleansing and other benefits.
