If you want to make this Velveeta recipe on the stovetop that works too. Just use a large, deep skillet, brown the meat and drain it. Return the meat and other ingredients to your skillet and melt it all together on low heat.
Serve immediately, or rewarm on low at serving. We don’t recommend you let this dip sit in a skillet for hours without watching and the occasional stir as it may scorch.
For best results at serving, scoop out that warm gooey dip into a bowl. Add chips and serve. We used round tortilla chips. They are a good shape for scooping all the goodies out with the cheesy thick sauce.
Aside from the excellent flavor of this Velveeta cheese dip, the hamburger and veggies offer protein and nutrients. Just add you favorite chips.
