Cherry Jolly Rancher Drink

Learn how to make a cherry Jolly rancher drink in this post. We created this yummy drink as part of our series on jolly rancher drinks.

We also give you instructions on how to turn this recipe into four equal Jolly Rancher shots.

We have our own unique recipes for every flavor.

Not one of them involves infusing candy into the vodka. Using the candy in the drink makes a VERY sweet drink. Some find that off-putting.

I love sweet drinks, as you know, But I prefer that Jolly rancher zing each of these offers with the sweet.

I created each of these with my favorite taste tester, my husband.

It was a fun project. 🙂

Cherry Jolly Rancher Recipe:

Of the four flavors we created this was the most challenging to get right.

We could not source the cherry pucker we needed. So I had to get creative. We think its very tasty. Let us know how you like it.

If you DO happen to have some cherry pucker in your wet bar you can use it. Replace the maraschino cherry and grenadine with the pucker. If you do play with this recipe we’d love to know how yours turns out.

The Glass:

We used our favorite Coop Glasses. They are sturdy and elegant. But seriously any 6 oz. glass will work with this drink. Choose a glass that fits your event.

  • Vodka (we used absolut vodka)
  • grenadine
  • maraschino cherry juice
  • sweet and sour mix
  • cherry soda

The Method:

This is a simple shake and pour cocktail. With the additional step of topping the drink with a bit of fizzy soda.

Now Garnish and serve. Easy Peasy.
