Dave picked ten gallons of Fuji apples from our trees. My living room now has baskets of fresh, perfectly ripe apples everywhere that need using!

I’m doing a lot of coring and chopping apples to use those beauties in recipes. I picked up a handy tool for the job. I love my apple corerIr?T=Homefoodjunk 20&Amp;L=Ur2&Amp;O=1. It’s a good time and energy saver for long days in the kitchen.

I’m passing the Amazon link along to you. The Amazon link to the apple corer also has many other useful gadgets for peeling, coring and prepping apples if you need some help with your apple harvest.

Homemade Applesauce, Caramel apple pie, apple crisp, applesauce cake and glazed apple cake, Crock Pot apple cider pork roast , Fresh apple spiced muffins , apple pumpkin seed muffins, and now fresh apple cheesecake bars are some of our Fall Harvest apple recipes.

I’m always adding more apple recipes so hunt around the blog if you’re looking for something in particular or just browsing. Apple Pie cheesecake is also amazing if you want a holiday beauty.

I am freezing apples too. So far I have 16 quarts of apple pie filling in the freezer. They will be so appreciated this winter and next spring in apple recipes. Goodies to bring back a taste of the fall harvest!

Fresh Apple Cheesecake Bars Recipe Notes:

This recipe is easy to make, quick to bake and fast to set. This dessert works for our family because it’s really good and you don’t have to wait overnight to eat it!

After only 30 minutes in the oven, just cool it down and cut it up! I love that the cheesecake sets up as it bakes and cools without a long refrigerator time. Our cheesecake desserts often suffer from impatient people who won’t wait for them to set!

Don’t let all those steps scare you off. This dessert goes together quick. There are a few steps for each layer, that’s all. Once you get started, In under an hour your family can be eating this yummy treat.

The coconut oil and butter are interchangeable in this recipe. I usually work with them softened or melted. I have used both quick oats and regular rolled oats in this recipe. both work. The little extra kick of flavor from the organic apple Instant oat packets is nice though.
