  • 6 Medium sized Potatoes ( Yukon golds or Russets work best)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter- as needed
  • 1 Cup parmesan cheese (freshly grated)
  • 1 Tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tsp. smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp.sea salt
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp. cracked black pepper

Instructions

    Prep:

    1. Wash and scrub the potatoes, then make the Hasselback cuts. You want to make the cuts as even as possible for the best baking results and presentation. We suggest you use a guide on each side of the potato like wooden spoons or bamboo chop sticks to prevent the knife cutting all the way through the spud. You want the pieces connected at the potato bottom so its all one unit when finished.
    2. Optional soaking: immerse the potatoes in a large bowl of water for 30 minutes. Change the water a time or two to wash off the excess starch. after soaking drain and wipe off potatoes. This helps the potatoes cook evenly and get very crispy.

Instructions:

    1. Brush the potato sections with the melted butter (or a healthy oil if you prefer)
    2. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.
